Amino acid synthesis

We have developed a range of organozinc reagents, each derived from the naturally occurring amino acids, serine, aspartic acid and glutamic acid. These reagents allow the direct preparation of enantiomerically pure amino acids, either by their palladium catalysed or copper promoted reactions with a wide range of electrophiles.
